Beamwork ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Account information. When you claim a site or create an account, we collect your name, email address, and business details (name, address, phone number, and category). This information is stored securely in our database via Supabase.
Payment information. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or banking details — Stripe handles all payment data and is PCI-DSS compliant. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
Public business data. To generate your site, we may collect publicly available information about your business from sources such as Google Maps, Yelp, and business directories. This data is used solely to create and improve your website content.
Usage data. We automatically collect information about how you interact with Beamwork, including pages visited, features used, and browser and device type. This helps us improve the product.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Generate, publish, and maintain your business website
- Process subscription payments and manage your plan
- Send transactional emails (account creation, billing receipts, site updates)
- Respond to support requests and inquiries
- Improve the Beamwork platform and develop new features
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
3. Data storage and security
Your data is stored in Supabase, a secure cloud database service. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Authentication is handled via Supabase Auth, which supports secure session management and optional OAuth providers such as Google.
While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, no system is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately at hello@beamwork.ai.

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so may prevent you from using authenticated features of the platform.

7. Children's privacy
Beamwork is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you by email or via an in-app notice.
